📚 Shelf One – How You Play
You place your finger on any letter tile and drag it across the grid, connecting adjacent letters in any direction – up, down, sideways, or diagonally – to spell a real word. The path lights up as you trace, and when you lift your finger, the game checks your word against its dictionary. If it is valid, those letters dissolve, the tiles above drop into the empty spaces, and new letters fall in from the top. Each correct word earns you points, and longer words reward higher scores. The grid starts at 5x5, and as you progress through the library shelves, it expands to 6x6 and 7x7, introducing more letters and more possibilities.
🔍 Shelf Two – Special Tiles and Tools
Some tiles are trickier than others. A golden tile appears randomly – if you include it in your word, that word's value doubles. A frozen tile locks the letter in place, preventing it from falling when you clear words around it; you must tap it twice to thaw it before it can be used. The game offers three tools per puzzle: the Hint Lens reveals one valid word on the board, the Shuffle rearranges all tiles, and the Eraser removes one unwanted letter from your current trace. The real thrill is the Streak Bonus – if you find three words in a row without lifting your finger incorrectly, your multiplier climbs from 1x to 2x, then 3x, up to a maximum of 5x for that round. Hidden behind some puzzles is a bonus key – finding it unlocks a mini‑game where you must quickly tap falling letters to spell a word before they hit the ground.
📖 Shelf Three – Progression and Customisation
Each puzzle has a target number of words to find. Reaching the target clears the level and earns you ink drops. You spend ink drops at the shop to unlock new tools, increase your starting time limit, or buy a Word Finder that automatically highlights one word per puzzle. The daily challenge board gives you three new puzzles every day, with special rewards like extra ink or a skip ticket for tough levels. You also earn a completion star for finding every possible word on a board – a satisfying feat that fills your star collection.
♾️ Shelf Four – Endless Mode and Word Mastery
After completing eighty puzzles, you unlock Endless Archive – a mode where the grid grows one size larger every ten rounds, and you must find a minimum number of words to advance. There is no penalty for missing a word, but your progress meter fills faster with longer words. When the meter overflows, the Golden Dictionary activates – for forty seconds, every word you spell earns triple rewards, and each correct word leaves a glowing marker that stays on the board for the next round. After that, you spin the Librarian's Wheel, with four prize tiers. The deeper you go, the more words you discover – and the library always has one more page to turn.
