ENCOUNTER LAB - BRIDGE SIMULATOR
Pick a vessel type for your own ship and for a target, switch between day and night rendering, and watch a live give-way / stand-on verdict appear with the exact rule citation, computed from the Steering and Sailing Rules as the situation develops. Risk of collision and close-quarters situations are flagged in real time.

FREE, ALWAYS
Rules, Lights & Shapes, Sound & Light, Distress, IALA Buoyage, Annexes, Radar Plotting, Flashcards and Progress are free forever. No account. No ads.

ONE-TIME UNLOCK
A single one-time purchase unlocks the Encounter Lab bridge simulator, Oral Practice and Exam Mode. No subscription, ever.

WORKS WITH NO INTERNET
Everything is bundled inside the app. Study at sea, in the cabin, off watch, or anywhere with no signal. Your exam history, favourites and progress stay on your device. Nothing is collected or transmitted.

WHO IT IS FOR
Nautical science students, deck cadets, Second Mate and Chief Mate candidates, Master FG aspirants, merchant navy officers, fishing and workboat crews, yachtmasters, naval officers, and anyone revising Rules of the Road for a written paper or an oral examination.

IMPORTANT
This is a training and revision aid only. It does not replace the official COLREG text, flag-State examinations, or approved courses, and does not model every rule (for example restricted visibility, narrow channels, or traffic separation schemes) at full operational fidelity.
