This indeed is quite a good app if you want to make notes and make journal entries. The only downside is if you change to a new cell phone, then the journal entries don't get transferred to the new phone. If an update can be made to transfer the existing updates to a new phone, then it will be very good.

Downloaded this today, is exactly what I was looking for: simple daily offline journal, no ads or premium upgrades. UI is simple and laid out in a reasonable manner. My only gripes with it so far (1 hour of use): 1: Does not auto-capitalize words at beginning of sentences. 2: Writing entries have a horrible auto-spacing format that spaces out words in an even distrubution on a per-line-basis. (Writing Notes does not have this issue).
