QR Scanner

QR Scanner is a practical QR companion for Android. Scan with the live camera or pick a photo from your gallery—decoded results open on a detail screen with a readable summary, the raw payload, and quick actions when the content type is recognized.

Recognized scan types include website links, Wi‑Fi networks, contacts, phone numbers, email, SMS, locations, and plain text. The camera view includes a scan guide overlay, zoom controls, and flashlight when your device supports it.

Use Generate to build your own QR codes for websites, Wi‑Fi (WPA/WPA2, WEP, or open), vCard-style contacts, or free text. Preview the code, share it as an image, or save it to History.

History keeps camera scans, gallery decodes, and saved generated codes in one list. Copy text, share the payload, share a QR image, run type-specific shortcuts (open link, Wi‑Fi settings, dialer, and more), or remove individual entries. Clear all is available with confirmation.

Scanning uses the camera only when you start a live scan; gallery import uses the system photo picker. Decoding runs on your device. The UI follows Material 3 with light and dark theme and is available in 10 languages. Open-source credits are in the in-app Licenses screen.
