Sound Test for Android TV

Sound Test for Android TV is a specialized Chrome extension designed to evaluate your TV's audio setup. Compatible with devices like NVIDIA SHIELD, Google Nexus Player, and Sony BRAVIA 4K 2015, it generates real-time 5.1 multi-channel sound to test individual speakers, including Front Left, Front Right, Center, LFE (subwoofer), Surround Left, and Surround Right.

This tool allows users to perform comprehensive audio quality checks on TV speakers, soundbars, or AV systems through pre-configured tests such as the THX subwoofer test, subwoofer range test, midrange test for vocals, and highs test. Note that the app is currently in beta, and certain devices like Sony BRAVIA might downmix the 5.1 stream to stereo, which users are encouraged to report.
