JLPT Tango Plus - 일본어 단어장

JLPT N5~N1 Vocabulary Listening and Review Study

Features & Capabilities

JLPT Tango Plus is a Japanese vocabulary app designed for learners preparing for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT).

The name "Tango" is derived from the Japanese word 単語 (tango), meaning "word." The moment you see the app's name, you begin by memorizing a Japanese word.

You can learn and repeatedly review Japanese vocabulary by JLPT level, from the N5 introductory stage to the N1 advanced level.

Instead of simply looking at words once and being done, the learning queue is structured so that you can set aside words you have already memorized and move confusing words to the back. Thanks to this, you can naturally review words you haven't memorized yet.

[Key Features]

1. Vocabulary Lists by JLPT N5~N1 Level

We provide vocabulary lists for five levels: N5, N4, N3, N2, and N1.

From beginners just starting Japanese to learners preparing for advanced JLPT vocabulary, you can study words according to your level. 2. Accumulated Vocabulary Lists in Units of 50

Vocabulary lists are organized in units of 50, accumulated over time.

For example, Vocabulary List 1 contains words 1–50, Vocabulary List 2 contains words 1–100, and Vocabulary List 3 contains words 1–150, allowing you to review previous words as well.

This helps with long-term memory by allowing you to naturally review previous words while learning new ones.

3. Learning Queue-Based Repetitive Learning

The order of words is shuffled anew every time a new learning session starts.

Words selected as "Memorized" are removed from the current learning queue, while words selected as "Not Memorized" are moved to the end of the queue.

The design allows you to focus on repetitive learning by reducing the number of memorized words and revisiting words you are still confused about.

4. Continue Support

Your current learning queue is saved even if you exit the app during a lesson.

When you reopen the app, you can continue from where you left off, allowing you to study without burden even during short commutes to and from work or school.

5. Review Count

Records the number of times you have completed learning for each vocabulary list.

You can check how many times you have repeated each vocabulary list, and easily track your progress through N-review badges.

6. Listen to Japanese Pronunciation

You can listen to word pronunciation using the device's Japanese TTS function.

You can check the pronunciation of Japanese words using the device's built-in voice function even without a network connection.

7. Color Identification for Kanji Readings

Displays the Kanji reading types of Japanese words using different colors.

Words with different reading styles—such as On-reading, Kun-reading, Sukuji-kun, and Ateji—are distinguished by color, allowing you to check the differences in reading while memorizing words.

Words written in Kana that do not require classification are displayed in the standard text color, keeping the learning screen clean. 8. Hiragana / Katakana Charts

Provides charts for Hiragana and Katakana.

You can check voiceless, voiced, and semi-voiced consonants together. Tapping each cell allows you to hear the pronunciation, making it useful for learning basic Japanese characters.

9. Personal Vocabulary List

Users can create their own personal vocabulary lists by adding words themselves.

In addition to JLPT vocabulary, you can save and review Japanese expressions found in textbooks, classes, anime, dramas, or while traveling.

10. Light / Dark / System Themes

Supports Light Mode, Dark Mode, and themes linked to system settings.

You can learn Japanese vocabulary with a screen layout that is comfortable for your environment.

11. Data Reset

Provides a menu to reset your study history and saved data.

You can organize your study progress if you want to start studying from the beginning again.
