Shan'en Buddhist Sutras is a Traditional Chinese classic reading app that allows offline reading of eighteen classic texts in a vertical layout, while also recording personal reading progress and achievements.

■ Included Classics (Eighteen Texts)
Buddhist Classics: Heart Sutra, Diamond Sutra, Medicine Buddha Sutra, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Sutra, Amitabha Sutra, Lotus Sutra, Avatamsaka Sutra, Surangama Sutra, Vimalakirti Sutra, Platform Sutra of the Sixth Patriarch, and Sutra of the Inconceivable Realm of the Great Buddha.

Taoist and Folk Virtue Classics: Taishang Qingjing Jing, Guan Sheng Di Jun Jue Shi Zhen Jing, Guan Sheng Di Jun Tao Yuan Ming Sheng Jing, Ji Gong Huo Fo Jiu Shi Zhen Jing, Pangu Di Wang Ci Fu Zhen Jing, Maitreya Jiu Ku Zhen Jing, and Bai Xiao Jing.

■ Vertical Reading and Page Turning: Scriptures are arranged vertically from right to left, providing a chapter index, volume/section location, and reading position record. Click the left or right half or swipe left or right to turn pages, with a flip-page effect; upon reaching the end of a scripture, you can choose to return to the first page for repeated reading.

■ Reading Records and Personal Achievements: Automatically records the number of times each scripture has been completed, current progress, reading days, and effective reading time; when sharing scriptures, you can add your selected personal reading achievements.

■ Scripture Sorting: Long-press a scripture card and drag it to customize the order of the scriptures.

■ Selecting and Sharing Scriptures: Android phones and foldable screens support long-pressing to select scriptures (can select characters across pages), generating a share card that follows the currently read font. Images can be saved or directly shared to messaging apps. Android tablets and e-ink screens do not enable character selection sharing to maintain large-screen reading operation.

■ Fonts, Font Sizes, and Themes: Offers 16 Chinese fonts, day/night themes, and various font sizes. Mobile phones and foldable screens support 16–36 character levels; tablets and e-ink devices compatible with large screen mode offer up to 52 character levels and include a manually activating high-contrast black-and-white e-ink mode.

■ User Guide First-time users can follow the step-by-step guide to operate the main functions such as sorting by title, page turning, font and size, day/night themes, reading history, word selection, and sharing.

■ Offline, Free, Ad-Free The text, fonts, and main reading content are all built-in, allowing offline reading after download. Google Play installation, updates, and some system functions will use Google Play/Android system services when necessary. This app is free to use and ad-free; reading progress, history, and settings are stored on the device; please refer to the privacy policy for details on data handling.

■ Text and Proofreading This version is built and packaged offline using proofread local text data from the project; the "About" page lists general reference and proofreading resources. The electronic text may still contain minor font variations, variant characters, or editorial differences. We welcome your feedback, including specific volumes, sections, paragraphs, and screenshots.
