User Reviews

Users appreciate the Jesus Calling Devotional Lite app for its inspiring daily devotionals, inclusion of Bible verses, and convenience for daily spiritual encouragement. However, multiple users report issues with app loading failures unless notifications or internet are enabled, confusing navigation, intrusive ads after updates, and occasional technical errors. While many value the content and minimal ads, concerns about privacy and app usability have been raised. Overall, the app provides valuable devotionals but suffers from recent performance and interface drawbacks according to user reviews.

Pros

Inspiring daily devotionals that help build and bolster faith.
Convenient access to daily messages wherever you are, complementing the physical book.
Includes full devotional text along with corresponding Bible scriptures.
Minimal and unobtrusive ads in the free Lite version.
App allows easy sharing of devotionals with friends and family.

Cons

App sometimes fails to load daily devotionals without enabling notifications or internet, leading to only a picture of Jesus being shown.
Recent updates introduced more ads and less intuitive navigation with more clicks required, frustrating users.
Some users report errors related to SFL certificate signing that block access to readings.
Navigation is dated; app does not automatically open to current day's devotion requiring manual date selection.
Users have concerns about privacy and data consent introduced in newer versions.
