MongleCam turns one spare phone into a camera and lets you watch the live view from your own phone. Baby's room, pets, the front door or living room — all you need is two phones you already own. No extra hardware.

■ Your video never touches a server
Video and audio travel directly between your devices (peer-to-peer). Streams don't pass through or get stored on our servers, and everything is end-to-end encrypted (DTLS-SRTP). The worry of "where is my baby's footage being stored?" is designed out from the start.

■ Connect with one QR scan
Show a QR code on the camera phone, scan it with your viewing phone — done. No complicated sign-up. Once paired, the connection survives even if you reinstall the app.

■ Reconnects on its own
Reboot your router or switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data — MongleCam reconnects automatically. No black screens or endless spinners; just a brief reconnect and the video is back.

■ Sound detection alerts
When crying or a loud noise is detected, your viewing phone gets a notification, so you won't miss the moments that matter without staring at the screen all day. Only the sound level is measured on the device — no audio is sent or stored.

■ Two-way audio
Listen in to what's happening, and with Premium, talk back too — handy for soothing a child or pet in another room.

■ Battery-saving standby
When no one is watching, the camera turns off and waits, powering back on only when you connect. That keeps the camera phone cooler and easier on power while it sits on the charger.
