Rimble

Rimble is a rhyming game played by several people around a table, using a single phone that's passed around.

The game draws a word ending — "…OUILLE", "…EAU", "…ANTE" — and starts the timer. Find a rhyming word, confirm it, and pass the phone to your neighbor. A word already said doesn't count, nor does a derivative. Each player has three lives, and the round speeds up with each word found.

WHAT MAKES IT FAMILY-FRIENDLY

Each player can have THEIR OWN timer. A 78-year-old grandmother and a 15-year-old don't have the same typing speed or word recall: with a single timer, they both lose every game. Here, the difference is fixed once, and the timer always starts at 100% — no one can see from a distance that they have more time than their neighbor.

SIX LANGUAGES

French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, German, English. Each dictionary is based on actual pronunciation, not spelling: the game knows that "pied" (foot) rhymes with "clé" (key) and that "mémoire" (memory) doesn't rhyme with "brouillard" (fog).

100% OFFLINE

No account, no registration, no ads, no trackers. The dictionaries are embedded in the app: it works on a plane, in the depths of a cellar, and doesn't require any network permissions. Players' names and photos stay on the phone and never leave.

A CUSTOM KEYBOARD

The game generates its own keyboard, without autocorrect or suggestions: otherwise, the phone would whisper the answers. It follows the country's layout—AZERTY, QWERTY, or QWERTZ.

Without any purchase, you can play a complete game, with no time or round limits, for up to three players. "Rimble Complet" expands the game to twelve players and keeps the list of names from one game night to the next. One single purchase, which can be shared with the family.
