Scrambled Exif is an open-source Android privacy tool that removes EXIF metadata from photos before you share them. Metadata can reveal details such as where and when a picture was taken, as well as camera information.

Simply share a photo with Scrambled Exif, then send the cleaned image to your intended app when the share dialog reappears. The app can also rename files, with an option to disable this feature. Scrambled Exif is designed for JPEG images and requires storage access to read shared pictures. Always double-check processed photos before sharing, as metadata removal may not be guaranteed in every case.

great, messages should have this built in as an option for privacy and safety. the only improvement I wish it had was when the 2nd share menu pops up, it's just a black screen, maybe instead have some message like"you're now sharing w/ exif removed" so you have confirmation that it actually went thru scrambedexif. otherwise just androids share menu just sucks but that's not the devs problem. it solves a must needed issue
