JeJam Rental Marketplace is a secure peer-to-peer mobile application developed and operated by J-2-8 Company, based in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, Philippines. The platform is designed to connect verified Owners and Renters in a trusted environment where users can safely list, discover, and rent various items through a structured and transparent system.

JeJam operates with two main user types: Owners, who list items for rent, and Renters, who browse and rent available items. The platform ensures trust and safety by requiring all users to complete a strict registration and verification process. This includes OTP-based mobile verification, submission of two valid government-issued IDs, and a selfie photo for identity confirmation. Owners are also required to provide valid GCash account details for withdrawals.

The platform features an integrated App Wallet system that manages all financial transactions within the app. Renters must maintain sufficient wallet balance to cover both rental fees and refundable deposits before confirming a booking. Once a rental is completed and approved, payments are processed automatically. A 10% platform commission is deducted from the rental fee, while 90% is credited to the Owner’s wallet. Deposits are refunded to Renters after successful item return and Admin approval.

JeJam provides a complete rental workflow that includes item browsing, booking, in-app communication, rental confirmation, item handover, return processing, and final transaction settlement. Owners are responsible for ensuring that listed items are accurate, functional, and legally owned, while Renters must use items responsibly and return them in good condition.

To ensure fairness and security, all transactions are monitored and may be reviewed by platform administrators. In case of disputes, the Admin team may investigate, request evidence, and make final decisions based on platform policies. Funds may be temporarily held during dispute resolution to protect both parties.

JeJam is committed to protecting user data and privacy. The platform collects necessary information such as personal details, identification documents, contact information, device data, and transaction history. This information is used for account verification, transaction processing, fraud prevention, platform improvement, and legal compliance. All data is securely stored and protected using industry-standard security measures, including encryption and restricted access controls.

Users have rights under the Philippine Data Privacy Act, including the right to access, correct, and request deletion of their personal data, as well as withdraw consent where applicable. JeJam does not sell or trade personal information to third parties.

The platform strictly prohibits fraudulent activity, false information, illegal listings, harassment, misuse of items, and attempts to bypass platform fees. Violations may result in account suspension or permanent termination.

JeJam may update its Terms and Privacy Policy periodically to improve services, security, and compliance with applicable laws. Continued use of the platform indicates acceptance of these updates.
