İzmir Atatürk Organized Industrial Zone (IAOSB), which started its operations in 1990, is one of Turkey's most important production, export and employment centers.

The companies in our region are mainly; concentrated in textile, ready-made clothing, machinery, automotive sub-industry, metal, plastic, chemistry, food, electricity and electronics sectors. The annual turnover of IAOSB is 7.8 billion dollars, its exports are 2.5 billion dollars and its imports are around 1 billion dollars.

55 million m3 natural gas per year in our region; 700 million kWh of electricity and 4 million m3 of water are consumed.

Our region has TSE EN ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, TSE EN ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System and TSE EN ISO 50001:2018 Energy Management System certificates within the Integrated Management System.
