Legacy Immersive Mode Manager is a compact tool to customize Android's Immersive Mode your way. This legacy app has been replaced by the new Immersive Mode Manager (available separately) and will remain available mainly as a premium unlocker. It still provides a simple UI to apply immersive settings in real time without background services, overlays, or complicated hacks.

Define a global immersive preset or tailor settings per app. Choose Full (hide status + navigation), Status only, Navigation only, or None. No root required — the app needs WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS which can be granted via ADB (detailed instructions included) or directly on rooted devices. Features include a quick settings tile, Tasker broadcast support, and lightweight analytics. Ideal for users who want precise control over screen real estate and fullscreen behavior.

Near Perfect! This app really allows me to gain just a little bit more real estate on my phone screen - valuable considering it doesn't have the infinity screen of the S8 or S9. There is just a tiny problem in that the area where the notification bar is hidden is slightly discolored for the rest of the screen. So I paid for and installed the app, gave adb permissions, and the app does not work at all. In less than 24 hours the refund button was replaced with an uninstall button. I mailed the developer to no avail. He's either completely incompetent or a straight up crook. If he doesn't contact me asap I will report him.
