RunLoyal Front Desk Kiosk

RunLoyal Kiosk is the staff and self-service companion app for pet care businesses — boarding facilities, daycares, groomers, and training centers — that already use the RunLoyal platform.

It runs in two modes on a single tablet at your front desk. In staff mode, your team checks pets in and out, reviews the day's appointments, manages customer accounts, captures pet and owner photos, and accepts payments and signed agreements. In self-service kiosk mode, customers walk up to the same device to scan their booking QR code, confirm their pet's details, sign required agreements, and complete check-in on their own — freeing your team to focus on the animals in your care.

What you can do with the app:

• Check pets in and out in seconds by scanning a QR code or searching the customer record.
• View the full day's lodging, daycare, grooming, and training appointments on one screen, with quick access to each booking's notes and history.
• Let new pet owners self-register at the kiosk, then add and manage pets directly from the same device.
• Update missing pet details during membership purchases and check-ins so your records stay accurate.
• Sell and renew memberships, and complete membership check-in and check-out.
• Create walk-in appointments, check walk-ins in and out, and add or update appointment add-ons with automatic staff and room assignment.
• Capture digital signatures on facility agreements, waivers, and grooming consent forms.
• Take secure card payments using saved cards on file or a new payment method, and apply gift cards or deposits.
• See real-time messages between your facility and pet parents, with photo attachments.
• Let staff clock in and clock out from the same device using a QR code or personal PIN, with optional location verification so you know shifts started on site.
• Sign in faster on shared devices with Face ID, fingerprint, or biometric unlock, with a PIN fallback.
• Receive push notifications for new bookings, customer messages, and shift reminders.

Who this app is for:

This app is designed for facilities that have an active RunLoyal account. Staff sign in with their existing RunLoyal credentials; pet parents do not need a separate login to use the self-service kiosk screen. The app does not replace the RunLoyal customer mobile app — it is the in-facility tool that lives on the counter.

How we handle your data:

Location is used only while the app is open, to confirm staff clock-ins happen on site and to detect the nearest facility. We do not track location in the background. The camera is used to scan booking QR codes and to capture pet and profile photos when the user taps an attach control. Photo library access uses the system photo picker so the app only sees the items you select. Biometric data never leaves the device — it is handled by iOS and Android and only used to unlock the app.
