Affenberg Salem

Explore the Affenberg Salem through an engaging scavenger hunt focused on the missing monkey princess "Amia." Encounter around 50 free-flying pairs of storks, nearly 200 Barbary macaques, and a lively herd of fallow deer while uncovering the park's rich biodiversity. Completing all tasks rewards you with a special surprise.

Affenberg Salem serves as a Noah's Ark for the endangered Barbary macaques, whose populations have drastically declined over the past 25 years. The park plays a crucial role in their survival and supports conservation efforts globally, including initiatives in Morocco and Madagascar. By participating, visitors contribute to awareness and support for protecting these unique wildlife species and their habitats.
