Soundbars ship with different infrared protocols depending on the model and region. This app includes 12 tested codesets. Open the picker, tap through them, and keep the one your soundbar responds to — the app remembers your choice, so you only do this once.

IMPORTANT — YOUR PHONE NEEDS AN IR BLASTER
This app sends real infrared signals through your phone's built-in IR emitter, the same way a physical remote does. It cannot work on phones without IR hardware. Popular phones with IR blasters include many Xiaomi, Redmi, POCO, Samsung Galaxy (older models), Huawei, Honor, TCL and LG devices. The app checks your phone on launch and tells you right away if no IR emitter is found.

TIPS FOR BEST RESULTS
• Point the top edge of your phone at the soundbar — that's where the IR emitter sits
• Stay within about 5 metres and keep a clear line of sight
• If a button does nothing, switch to the next codeset in the picker and try again
• Remove thick cases that may cover the IR window
