ipto Analytics

ipto Analytics by IPTO S.A. offers a concise overview of vital data related to the Greek Transmission System's performance. Users can explore essential metrics such as grid load, energy production segmented by technology (including lignite, natural gas, hydro, and renewable sources), and the interconnection balance reflecting energy exchanges with neighboring countries like Italy, Albania, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, and Turkey. Additionally, the tool tracks CO2 emissions from lignite and natural gas units, supporting environmental awareness.

Functioning under EU Directive 2009/72/EC, the Independent Power Transmission Operator (IPTO) is dedicated to operating, controlling, maintaining, and developing Greece's electricity transmission system. ipto Analytics embodies this mission by providing transparent, reliable data to facilitate safe, efficient energy supply and promote fair competition in electricity markets outside Day Ahead Scheduling.
