InsurAds

This demo application showcases possible integrations of the InsurAds Mobile SDK for Android and is intended for clients, partners, and technical teams who want to understand how the SDK works in real-world scenarios.

The app demonstrates how InsurAds AdUnits replace standard Google Ad Manager ad views while preserving the existing monetization setup. Instead of directly using the Google AdManagerAdView, the InsurAds AdUnit acts as a wrapper that performs the initial ad request and manages attention time, viewability, and user engagement metrics.

Key features demonstrated in this app include:

Integration of InsurAds AdUnits for multiple ad placements

Execution of the first ad request using existing ad paths, sizes, and custom targeting

Automatic management of ad refresh logic based on attention and visibility rules

Measurement of key metrics such as viewability, exposure time, and engagement

Handling of activity lifecycle events (pause, resume, background, foreground)

Support for multiple independent ad units within the same application

Optional hooks and listeners to enrich ad requests (e.g. Prebid integrations)

The SDK internally decides if and when to execute subsequent ad requests, based on rules defined on the InsurAds platform. This mirrors the behavior already used on web implementations and removes the need for hardcoded refresh logic in the app.
