Teachers begin by logging into the TV app using either an OTP sent to their registered mobile number or by scanning a QR code through the Instaowl mobile app. Once logged in, they can access their profile and view subjects and learning groups created via the mobile app. Navigation is smooth and intuitive, using the TV remote to control session flow.
To begin a class, teachers select a subject and chapter, prompting the display of a QR code on the TV screen. Students scan this code using the Instaowl mobile app to instantly join the session. As soon as the connection is established, the teacher can manage the session remotely via the mobile app's built-in remote control feature. This remote allows teachers to launch educational video content and initiate interactive quizzes that appear at specific timestamps in the videos.
Students answer the quizzes from their mobile devices, earning points for correct responses. A live leaderboard, visible on both mobile and TV screens, displays student rankings and encourages participation. Quizzes support both image-based and multiple-choice formats, enhancing understanding and engagement.
Throughout the session, teachers can track which students are online, view quiz performance, and monitor chapter progress directly from the TV interface. Sessions can be paused, resumed, or restarted as needed, allowing flexibility for teachers to adapt to their classroom flow.
