MIDI Drum is a simple, intuitive 8-track drum sequencer built for live performance and studio use. Edit 4–48 steps across 4 cycles on a single screen, toggle up to 6 performance blocks, and use the built-in General MIDI sound source for immediate playback. The interface is designed for quick pattern creation and live tweaking, making it ideal for electronic musicians and performers.

Connect external instruments and controllers via Bluetooth LE MIDI or USB MIDI (compatible with Casiotone, PortaTone, InstaChord, and more), extend sounds with apps like bs-16i, and operate the sequencer from keyboards or page-turning switches. Share and load user-created patterns via the Song Library. Standard MIDI File (SMF) export is available as a paid add-on; loading community data is free and in-app purchases apply across devices.

Recent reviews

This is a great little app. The one thing that would make it perfect for me would be an additional interface to play the kit live by tapping screen graphics (eg a pic of the kit, as some other apps do). I know you can do this by tapping the drum names at left of screen, but they're very small! Otherwise perfect for my needs.
