Inspirers HTN

Inspirers HTN is an app designed for people with hypertension. It aims to help you manage this disease with simple tools, to achieve a better control.

The app will allow you to:
- define your treatment plan
- receive reminders to take your medication, according to your treatment plan
- program a schedule to make self-measurements of your blood pressure, which is highly recommended by scientific societies
- receive reminders to measure your blood pressure, according to the schedule you defined
- use your device’s camera to input information in the app, like photographing your blisters as you take your medication or photographing your blood pressure measurements
- watch short educational videos, which may help you with subjects such as the correct method to measure blood pressure or how to interpret the blood pressure values.

The app may create reports regarding your blood pressure values and your adherence to treatment. If you wish, these reports can be easily shared with your health care provider, to facilitate communication and foster shared decisions.

Inspirers HTN is a result of the work of a multidisciplinary team in a Research & Development center in a Portuguese University (CINTESIS, University of Porto). We are dedicated to improve mobile Health technologies and study how they can be used to change the way chronic diseases are managed, hopefully improving health outcomes. We are funded by several national and international institutions. By using this app, you can be sure that it was developed with a scientifical, not commercial, approach.
This app is under continuous development and may contain errors. This version is mainly used in research studies, particularly for validation purposes and to improve the system. Please report any difficulties or errors that you may find to paceit.cintesis@gmail.com.
