InsertKit

InsertKit helps you save time on repetitive typing. Store your most-used text as shortcuts and insert them instantly in any app — emails, messages, social posts, and more.

HOW IT WORKS

Create shortcuts with custom /triggers (for example, type /email to insert your full signature). InsertKit expands the trigger into your saved text automatically.

ACCESSIBILITYSERVICE API — REQUIRED

InsertKit uses the Android AccessibilityService API to provide text expansion in other apps. You must enable InsertKit under Settings → Accessibility for /triggers to work outside the InsertKit app.

When the AccessibilityService is enabled, InsertKit can:

• Read text you type in input fields in other apps to detect /trigger shortcuts
• Replace matched triggers with your saved shortcut content
• Show an optional autocomplete overlay while you type /
• Read clipboard content when Clipboard Sync is enabled in InsertKit settings, and save copies to your account when you are signed in

InsertKit does not record phone calls or audio, does not change device settings without your permission, does not prevent you from uninstalling apps, and does not bypass Android privacy controls. You can turn off Clipboard Sync or disable the AccessibilityService at any time in Android Settings → Accessibility.

IN-APP DISCLOSURE

Before opening system Accessibility settings, InsertKit shows a disclosure screen that explains these uses and requires your explicit consent (checkbox plus Agree or Deny).
