SOLve

SOLve is an app that aims to help students in grades 3 to 9 to study for the Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL).

The application includes practice problems, full practice tests, and other tools on different subjects to help you succeed on your next SOL.

About the SOL
The SOL is a standardized yearly test that the Virginia commonwealth uses to measure the growth of students based on an expectation of learning and achievement in grades K-12. Many students and schools do not have equal access to academic resources. SOLve provides free, accessible SOL resources for all students.

What Inspired Us
As students, we recognize through experience the challenges in studying for the SOLs. They are a significant reflection of a student’s academics, so we are aware that students feel pressure to perform well. We hope that through the use of our app, students will be more confident when taking the test knowing that they have gone through the preparation that they needed. As an interactive and engaging app, we not only aim to improve results, but furthermore promote a passion for education and beneficial learning habits in students.
