Red Antioquia Segura

Red Antioquia Segura is an IP-PTT-based communications app that offers services including video/voice PTT, real-time video transmission, image transfer, instant messaging (IM), location sharing, and more. It is a voice PTT compatible with two-way radio.

It is a fundamental part of the integrated PTT or Push-to-Talk over Cellular (POC) communication system for use by the support networks of the Antioquia Governorate.

The Red Antioquia Segura app has the following general specifications:

• Video/Voice PTT Communication: The "Push-to-Talk" function allows for immediate communication from mobile devices.

• Real-time video sharing from the emergency site: View the live video feed on your smartphone or computer (recording available). Voice and instant messaging are available during the video transmission between the dispatcher and other users.

• Real-time location and GPS tracking: Users can see where others are sending their PTT messages from. The dispatcher can check and track user information and location.

• Coverage: Using a wireless network (LTE/3G/Wi-Fi), the system provides stable PTT service with no poor reception.

• Location and Tracking: The web interface allows for managing location information, tracking service, and channel/user information.

• Alert Messages: The administrator can send alert messages to each channel.

• Communication Recording: The system stores and records the conversation history in voice and/or video files.
