InkWalk

Real novels, opened as worlds you can walk into.

Choose a book from our ever-growing library and enter it as a character of your own making. Not the hero. Someone new, living within the story as it unfolds around you with the true characters, places and events.

The novel's own plot goes on around you, on its own schedule, whether or not you are there to see it.

HOW A TELLING WORKS

Type what your character does, in your own words. There are no menus of choices and no dice. The story answers written in the register of the book you are standing in.

Every action you take has consequences and memory throughout the entire telling. You shape the story.

WHAT YOU GET

• Novels adapted whole, with their casts, maps, timelines and objects intact
• A scene panel, a map of where you have been, the people you have met, your inventory, and a journal of how your telling has diverged from the book
• Optional narration, read aloud a page at a time
• Optional illustrations, painted in a style chosen to suit the book
• Ten languages: English, 中文, हिन्दी, Español, Français, العربية, বাংলা, Português, Русский, اردو, and more to come.

ABOUT THE WRITING

InkWalk is for adults. Some titles carry the violence, cruelty and moral darkness of the novels they come from.
