Reviews are mixed, but recurring complaints focus on technical reliability, location/audio tracking, and ticket or purchase handling. Some users enjoy using the app to explore cities and learn local anecdotes; others say the tour experience can be disrupted or fail altogether.

Pros

Can make exploring cities more engaging, including while walking around.
Some users enjoyed learning local anecdotes and discovering cultural details.

Cons

Reliability problems are common: some users report crashes, tours that will not start, or the app stopping during playback.
Location and audio features can fail, including trouble recognizing tour stops or showing the user’s position.
Some users report payment and purchase problems, such as being charged without receiving a ticket or being unable to import purchases.

Recent reviews

Using this in Lyon. The app worked fine so far. But the content??? It's just annoying music and a few short breaks with a few shallow sentences about something in the vicinity. Waste of time and battery. If this was all there is to know about Lyon, better stay home.
