THE RESULT SCREEN HAS NO ADS
When you scan a code, what you see is the result. Not an advert dressed up to look like one. This is the one screen in the app that will never carry advertising.

SCAN QR CODES AND BARCODES
Point the camera at the code. The QR code reader detects and decodes it automatically, with auto-focus and auto-zoom, so you never have to line up the shot or zoom in on a small or distant code. It reads codes at an angle, on screens, and in the dark with the light on.

ALL COMMON FORMATS
QR Code, Data Matrix, Aztec, PDF417, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code 128, Code 39, Code 93, ITF and Codabar.

CHECK A LINK BEFORE YOU OPEN IT
A sticker can be placed over a real code. Before opening anything, the app shows you the real web address in large type, with the international characters unmasked, and runs sixteen checks for the tricks used in scam codes: lookalike domains, hidden addresses, bare IP addresses, shortened links and unencrypted logins. Those checks run on your phone and send the address nowhere. If the code is a shortened link you can tap to see where it really goes, and only then does the app contact the shortener. Links never open on their own.

CREATE YOUR OWN CODES
Turn text, a link, Wi-Fi details, a contact card, an email, a message, a phone number, a location or an event into a code. Choose your colours, add a logo, round the dots and corners, add a gradient, and put a caption underneath. Every code is tested before you see it, so a styled code still scans. You can also make Code 128, Code 39, EAN, UPC, ITF, Codabar, PDF417, Data Matrix and Aztec barcodes.

The only permission the app asks for is the camera, and only when you first open the scan screen. Your history stays on the device.
