A modern digital adaptation of the classic Chinese military-chess game 四国军棋 (Four-Countries) — pairing you with AI teammates and opponents.

4Wars2 brings the timeless four-player strategy game to Android with a clean graphical interface, animated moves, and an AI opponent that adapts to your skill level. No accounts, no ads, no tracking — just pure strategic gameplay.

Core Gameplay

Two-Team, Four-Player War. North + South vs. East + West. You play one seat; the other three are AI.
Standard 四国军棋 Board. 17×17 grid with four 6×5 quadrants, central railway, camps (行营), and headquarters (大本营).
25 Pieces Per Side. 12 types — Commander (司令), General (军长), Division (师长), Brigadier (旅长), Colonel (团长), Major (营长), Captain (连长), Lieutenant (排长), Engineer (工兵), Bomb (炸弹), Landmine (地雷), Flag (军旗).

AI That Grows With You

Three AI seats with 5 difficulty levels: Level 1 (random) → Level 5 (risk-aware, centre push, memory of revealed pieces, 1-ply look-ahead).

Game Modes & Features

暗棋 (Hidden) / 明棋 (Open) Modes. Hidden: enemy pieces are grey until combat reveals them. Open: all pieces visible.
Choose Your Seat & First Mover.
Configurable AI Delay. 1–30 seconds between AI moves.
Animated Moves. Smooth 500 ms ValueAnimator motion.
Drag-and-Drop or Tap-to-Move. Legal destinations highlighted automatically.
In-Game Language Toggle. Switch English / 中文 mid-game without losing progress.
Color-Coded Player Indicator. N · 北 green, E · 东 yellow, S · 南 red, W · 西 blue.
