Alien Hide & Seek AR

Real-life hide-and-seek, with real aliens — in the park near your house.

One of you creates the room and becomes the Game Master. The others enter with a four-character code. Each player receives a different alien: no one repeats a character, so you can tell whose alien you found just by looking.

HOW TO PLAY

Everyone has sixty seconds to spread out around the park. Then, each player points their phone at a wall, a tree, or a bench and anchors their alien there. It stays at that exact point in the real world, waiting.

Then the hunt begins. You raise your phone, look through the camera, and search. When you see someone's alien, just tap it on the screen. If you guess correctly, it's yours.

WHAT YOU WILL FIND

• Eight aliens with very different silhouettes, easy to recognize from afar
• Proximity radar that heats up as you get closer
• Space artifacts scattered throughout the park, each worth fifty points
• Combined perimeter: if you leave the area, you're out of the game
• Ranking among friends

YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFOREHAND

This game is played OUTDOORS, while walking. It requires a good GPS signal, and indoors this doesn't exist — under a roof the game warns you and won't let you start.

You will walk looking at your phone screen. Pay attention to traffic, the ground, and those around you. Play in parks and squares, not on busy streets.
