Deep Space: First Contact™ offers a unique sci-fi horror experience with impressive visuals and atmosphere for an indie title. However, users are frustrated by poor controls, lack of saving, and unclear navigation due to no maps or objective indicators. The alien enemy relentlessly chases without options to hide, making the gameplay repetitive and sometimes impossible to advance. Audio and graphical issues also detract from the experience. Updates have improved some controls, but core issues like missing guidance and punishing restart mechanics remain.

Interesting and unique horror game concept with sci-fi ambience.
Graphics and visual effects are impressive for an indie game.
Game creates a spooky and terrifying atmosphere.
The game has a good vibe and draws inspiration from well-known horror titles like Dead Space.
The last update improved navigation controls, reducing lag and improving usability.

단점

Controls are poor: sensitivity is clunky, jerky, locking up, and difficult to manage.
No save system; death forces a full restart, causing frustration.
Lack of guidance: no map, no objective markers, and confusing navigation leading to getting lost or going in circles.
Alien AI is frustrating: it relentlessly pursues the player without ability to hide or escape, making progression difficult or impossible.
Audio issues: flashlight turns off unexpectedly, irritating fixed-interval sounds, and crackling audio.
Game suffers from repetitive environments and downgraded graphics compared to trailers.
