Backhaul Control

Backhaul Control is the companion app for Backhaul — control your stream, follow chat, and monitor your connection, right from your phone.

The app pairs with the free Backhaul Companion, which runs on your streaming PC, so you can control your setup without touching a keyboard.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Control OBS — change scenes, mute, start/stop your stream, and apply a privacy blur, all remotely
• Follow your Twitch chat live, right on your phone
• See real-time stream stats — bitrate, connection status, and encoder health from Belabox or Backhaul’s own stats provider
• Send your live location to RT IRL for location overlays on your stream, with a clear on/off button and a visible notification when active
• Log in with Twitch to verify your channel — no manual typing
• Back up your app settings, encrypted with your own PIN, for easy device switching

HOW IT WORKS
1. Install Backhaul Companion on the PC you’re streaming from
2. Scan the QR code that Companion shows you
3. Control your stream from anywhere — via Backhaul’s relay, your local network, or a direct connection

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
• A Backhaul account (free tier available, paid plans for more relay capacity)
• Backhaul Companion running on your streaming PC
• Optional: a Twitch channel, RT IRL account, or Belabox encoder for the associated features
