Fajr UP: Quran Alarm Clock

Fajr UP is the Fajr alarm that doesn't let you go back to sleep.

You set the intention every night. Then the alarm rings, your hand finds snooze, and Fajr slips away — again. Fajr UP fixes the ten seconds where every other alarm clock fails: the moment between waking and getting up.

AN ALARM THAT ACTUALLY WAKES YOU
• Accurate Fajr prayer times for your exact location, with six calculation methods (Muslim World League, Umm al-Qura, Egyptian, ISNA, UOIF, Diyanet)
• Rings through silent mode and Do Not Disturb, over the lock screen
• Turn it off and it comes straight back — the only way out is through
• An optional backup re-ring, so a single missed tap is never a missed Fajr
• Set it to ring exactly at Fajr, or any number of minutes before or after

THREE WAKE-UP TASKS — PROVE YOU'RE AWAKE
• MATH — solve a few quick problems to shake off sleep. Choose how many.
• PHOTO — we name a verse; photograph it in your physical Quran. AI vision checks it really is the right ayah. You're out of bed, lights on, mushaf open.
• RECITATION — recite the shown ayah aloud. The app follows along as you read and verifies it.

Other Islamic alarm apps use math, shaking, quizzes or barcode scanning. Fajr UP is the only alarm clock that verifies a real Quran task. Math wakes your brain. Fajr UP wakes your soul.

THE WHOLE QURAN IS BUILT IN
All 114 surahs and 6,236 ayahs, with an English translation. Every morning brings a new verse, and the surah and ayah are always named so you can find it in your own mushaf.

BUILT FOR ISTIQAMAH, NOT ONE GOOD MORNING
• Fajr streaks and honest wake logs — every morning you showed up, and the ones you didn't
• Waking late still counts. Missing a day resets the streak, but your best streak is kept forever
• Achievements from your first sunrise to a full year of guarding the dawn
• A five-week calendar of every Fajr, at a glance

GENTLE REMINDERS, IF YOU WANT THEM
• A wind-down reminder so you sleep early enough for Fajr
• A quiet heads-up before Fajr enters
• Neither of these rings through silent mode — only the alarm does that

MADE WITH RESPECT
• No ads, ever
• Your photos and recitations are used only to check you're awake — never stored, never shared, never sold
• Prayer times are calculated on your device; your location never leaves it
• A calm dark interface built for 5 a.m., not for screen time
• Available in 11 languages: English, Arabic, Bengali, German, Spanish, French, Hindi, Portuguese, Russian, Urdu and Chinese

PERFECT FOR
Heavy sleepers, students, shift workers, anyone rebuilding the Fajr habit, and anyone who has ever woken up at 9 a.m. wondering how the alarm lost again. Also useful for Suhoor during Ramadan and for Tahajjud.
