Hot Foot: Lava Climb

Climb the tower you're still building.

You are both the architect and the escapee. Aim a block, drop it, then run and jump up the stack you just made while lava rises underneath you.

There's a catch that changes everything: you can't drop a block on the column you're standing in. Every rung has to go off to the side, and you have to actually get there. Turtling in place is not an option.

Every death is self-inflicted. Build a dead end, crush yourself with your own block, or get caught by the lava. The physics are deterministic, so a loss is always yours to own, and always worth one more try.
