How to download an Instagram video

1. Open Instagram and find a public post you are allowed to save.
2. Tap Share and choose Clip Saver — or open the post menu and tap Copy link.
3. Shared it? Fetching starts by itself. Copied it? Open the app and the link is already in the box.
4. Tap Download. The file is saved to your gallery and added to the Saved tab.
5. Open the Saved tab to play it offline, or send the clip to a friend.

Where do downloaded videos go? Into your phone gallery, alongside your own photos and videos, and into the app's Saved tab. Save a reel once and you can rewatch it any time, with no connection.

Works with public posts only

Clip Saver works only with posts the uploader has made publicly available and that you can already open yourself. Private accounts, Stories and deleted posts are not supported. One link saves one video or one photo.
