User Reviews

Catholify is appreciated for its comprehensive Catholic prayer resources and supportive community, aiding daily prayer especially during challenging times. However, multiple users report critical issues: the app frequently crashes after updates, the mandatory parish location picker often fails blocking access, and several features including chat and search are dysfunctional. Samsung users experience notable instability. Although the free app offers valuable spiritual tools, these technical problems significantly impact usability and frustrate loyal users.

Pros

Provides a strong Catholic prayer community, especially useful during the pandemic
Offers a variety of Catholic resources including prayers, Rosary, Bible links, and Gospel readings
Supports users in enriching and maintaining their prayer life, helpful for beginners and those growing spiritually
Free to use with meaningful content and features like online adoration and community prayer intentions
User-friendly simple layout (though some mention recent changes negatively)

Cons

The app frequently crashes or closes unexpectedly, particularly after recent updates
Many users face a blocking issue with the parish/location selector which prevents setup and use of the app
Some important features such as chat, events, profile updates, and search are buggy or fail to function properly
Issues with app compatibility or stability on Samsung devices highlighted multiple times
Recent update introduced a cluttered layout and removed some previous functionalities (like offline search) which users disliked
