Exhibition

The first Jewish families came to Laupheim in 1724. One hundred and fifty years later, the largest Jewish community in Württemberg lived here. The relationships between Jews and Christians determined the history of Laupheim for more than two centuries. The close Christian-Jewish relationship shaped economic, political, social and public life. It was the decisive driving force behind the creation of modern Laupheim.

A city tour integrated into the app takes you to the original locations using GPS tracking and locates the stories from the exhibition in the city: Where did the everyday and special relationship stories of Laupheim's Jewish and Christian population take place? Which memories and which images have been preserved? Who were the influential personalities?

Visit

The museum offers free WiFi for using the audio guide. For visitors without a suitable mobile device, rental devices are available free of charge at the museum box office. The guide can also be accessed as a web app at audioguide.laupheim.de.

The “Audio Guide Museum Laupheim” is a production by the House of History Baden-Württemberg for the Museum of the History of Christians and Jews in Laupheim on behalf of the Ministry of Science, Research and Art Baden-Württemberg.
