idle – Ride with us

Currently launching in Leicester, October 2025

Idle isn’t just another ride-hailing app - it’s a movement for fairness on the road.

For too long, drivers have worked hard while big platforms in Silicon Valley have treated them like pawns extracting value instead of providing it.

What started as a service has turned into a system that profits from drivers instead of empowering them.

We believed there had to be a better way, one that put the money back into the hands of drivers, and out of the hands of the middlemen.

That’s why Idle eliminates commission entirely. Drivers keep what they earn, and riders get predictable, honest fares.

Whilst we can’t remove the small Stripe Connect processing fees, we’ve partnered with a company that shares our values of security, trust, and transparency. Every transaction is protected by world-class payment technology, ensuring that drivers are paid quickly, safely, and directly - without the hidden costs or complicated systems that have become
the norm in this industry.

At Idle, fairness isn’t just about money, it’s about respect. It’s about restoring balance in an industry that lost its way.

Because every ride you complete fuels change.

Every person you refer helps power a movement for fairness and equality, a movement that puts drivers first and redefines what ethical ride-hailing can be.

Because when you pay for a ride, you should be paying the person behind the wheel, not the platform in the middle.

Key features:
• 0% COMMISSION TO IDLE - meaning a cheaper ride for the passenger and a fairer fare for the driver.
