• Why Background Access is Required: Tracking must remain entirely uninterrupted. By enabling background location, the app continuously transmits the vehicle's coordinates even when your phone screen turns off, when you receive an important phone call, or when you switch to a dedicated turn-by-turn navigation map like Google Maps. Foreground tracking alone would cause tracking drops, leaving parents unaware of their child's location.
• Operational Window: This background collection only triggers when you explicitly toggle your duty status to "On Trip" and automatically halts the moment your route is completed.
• Data Commitment: Transmitted location coordinates are encrypted and accessible only to authorized school administrators and the verified parents of students on your specific route. Your personal location data is strictly confidential and is NEVER shared or sold for advertising or marketing analytics.
