You fish a chain of expeditions that grow colder and deeper. Shallow ice teaches the bite, while later trenches drop your line through drifting weed beds that smother a careless drop and put a roaming hunter pike between you and your catch, ready to steal a fish if you reel too slowly. Common smelt, perch and char fill the score; rare aurora species surface unpredictably and pay double when landed.
Frost coins earned from each haul feed a tackle market of meaningful upgrades: a tungsten mormyshka that widens your strike window, an aurora blesna that tempts rarer fish, a thermal braid line for faster drops and reels, and a pocket sonar that reveals approaching fish before they bite.
