Ice Fishing renders a marine setting featuring a surface-level vessel. The primary user interface operates on a vertical axis, facilitating the deployment of line-based tools from the vessel downwards into the water column. The environment is populated by diverse aquatic biological entities, each possessing distinct volume attributes.

Depth and Mass Correlation

The simulation employs a stratification algorithm where the vertical position of an entity correlates with its dimensions. Entities with greater mass are situated at lower depth coordinates. Accessing and interacting with these larger entities requires navigation through the upper layers of the water column.

Equipment Configuration

Ice Fishing includes a selection mechanism for gear adjustment. Users may toggle between distinct types of rods. The specific parameters of the selected rod influence the efficiency of the interaction and the capability to acquire specific entities based on their depth and size characteristics.

Specimen Registry

The Ice Fishing software maintains a tracking database for user interactions. Upon the successful acquisition of a specific entity type, the system updates a status log. This registry functions as a catalogue, marking the completion of milestones associated with each unique variant of fish present within the simulation.
