Ice Fishing Live Cast is a planning companion for cold-water anglers. Combine a 7-day weather forecast, a daily bite-activity score, solunar timing windows and a private catch log into a single pocket tool.

▸ 7-DAY BITE FORECAST
Pick any spot on the map and the app fetches the next seven days of weather (pressure, temperature, wind, precipitation) and computes a bite-activity score for each day. The score blends stable barometric pressure, temperature ranges that match active fish behaviour, wind conditions and rain — the same variables experienced anglers actually watch.

▸ HOURLY TRENDS
Each day shows hourly charts for temperature, pressure and wind speed so you can pick the right hour of the morning or evening to head out.

▸ LUNAR & SOLUNAR
The app calculates the moon phase, illumination percentage and the major / minor solunar windows for any day in the next 30 days. Many anglers swear by fishing during the major windows when fish feed most actively.

▸ PRIVATE CATCH LOG
Record every catch — species, length, weight, location, date, time, rating and notes. The log lives only on your device. Browse statistics: total catches, top species, best length and weight, current daily streak, unique species recorded.

▸ FISH SPECIES GUIDE
Reference card for eight common freshwater species: northern pike, yellow perch, walleye, lake trout, bluegill, crappie, burbot, lake whitefish. Each card shows habitat, best season, recommended bait and a pro tip.

▸ No device identifiers collected (no AAID, no IMEI, nothing).
▸ Saved spots, catch log and settings live ONLY on your device — they never leave it.
▸ Location is used only to center the map and fetch a forecast at your spot. It is not retained on any server — we operate no servers.

The app reaches out to three public services only when you request a forecast or scroll the map:
• Open-Meteo for weather data
• Nominatim (OpenStreetMap) for place names
• Carto map tiles

Their terms apply on their side. We have no agreement with them other than as public API users.

▸ Network state — required, to know when you are offline.
▸ Location (precise + approximate) — optional. The app works without it; you can pick a location by searching for a city, lake or river instead.

The app does NOT request access to contacts, photos, microphone, camera, calendar, SMS, call log, files, or any other sensitive data.
