Meter Reading Management

Meter Tracker PK is a simple, offline electricity-meter tracker built for
households in Pakistan. Add your meters, scan or type the readings, and
the app does the math — units consumed, average daily usage, and a clear
chart of your billing cycle. When you’re ready to check your bill, one
tap opens your DISCO’s official page with your consumer number copied to
the clipboard.

No account. No backend. No ads. No analytics. Everything stays on your
phone.

▌ HIGHLIGHTS

• Add as many meters as you need — home, office, dera, rented unit, even
a separate AC meter — and label each one.

• Snap a photo of the meter and built-in OCR (Google ML Kit, runs on the
device) reads the digits for you. You can also pick an existing photo
from the gallery, or just type the reading.

• Live monthly usage, daily averages, and a tidy chart so you spot
spikes early (before the bill spikes you).

• Save the consumer number for each meter once. Tapping “Check current
bill” opens your DISCO’s site in an in-app browser with the consumer
number already on the clipboard — paste, submit, done.

• Local reminders so you never forget to take the monthly reading on the
same day each cycle. (Play notification permission is optional.)

• Light & dark themes, large touch targets, designed to work well on
small and budget devices.

• Export and share your readings as a CSV for backups or family
bookkeeping.

The “Check bill” shortcut points to each DISCO’s official portal. Of
course, the underlying website is run by the DISCO; this app only opens
it for you.

▌ PRIVATE BY DESIGN

• 100% offline. The app does not contact any server we operate — we don’t
run one.
• No personal info, account, phone number, or location is requested.
• Your readings, consumer numbers, photos and settings live in private
storage on your phone. Uninstalling the app removes them all.
• No advertising or analytics SDKs of any kind.

▌ PERMISSIONS WE ASK FOR

• Camera — only when you choose to scan a meter photo.
• Photos / media — only when you pick an existing meter photo.
• Notifications — only if you enable monthly reading reminders.
• Internet — required so the in-app browser can load your DISCO’s bill
page. The app itself sends no traffic anywhere else.
