No matter how steady you hold your phone, no matter how well you line it up with the edge markers, no matter what you do, the images the app (not my phone) takes are terrible. I've used this app 5 times and twice already I get a message back, many hours later, that my receipt was unreadable. This app is annoying enough to try to use, having to scan the barcode for everything you buy, but the functionality is so bad it's absolutely not worth the hassle.
The functionality of this app is abysmal. 2026-08-10	Ki*****	I've been using Ibotta consistently for at least 5 years. I love how easy it to earn cash back. If I've ever had any issues, I would get assistance right away and always get a resolution. It is one of very few I would recommend to anyone wanting to earn cash back for groceries and other household necessities.

2026-08-09	Am*****	Use to love it but stopped using due to time, (even quick and easy to use I was overly busyfor any extra). Tried restarting and no matter if I try to login or create a new account under another email- I get an error message that takes me to the login page ( vicious cycle) tried a couple different times. at this point there is no contact point either. NOT ABLE TO USE.

2026-08-09	Fr*****	Scam maintenance fee if you have a balance. They're essentially punishing you for their inability to post any good products that you can redeem! This I believe is BY DESIGN! Post unredeemed unusable products for six months, steal, rinse and repeat. How do I know this? NO WARNING! Telltale sign! If you have a balance, just withdraw it before they STEAL it! ONE STAR!!!!

2026-08-09	Ho*****	This app changed since earlier in the week, now I can't log in, have sent numerous emails to them, so far no help. won't let me reset password and no emails to do so. I have quite a bit of money there. never had this problem before and been using for years.
