Iblei News is the online newspaper for the Iblei villages. The editorial staff covers Palazzolo Acreide, Canicattini Bagni, Sortino, Buccheri, Ferla, Buscemi, and Cassaro daily, publishing news, politics, sports, current affairs, and culture throughout the day.

With the app, you can read the newspaper on your phone and be notified when something important happens, without having to check the website.

WHAT'S IN THE APP

• All the news from ibleinews.it, with the News, Politics, Sports, Current Affairs, and Culture sections.
• Cities: sorted by municipality, to read only what's happening in Palazzolo Acreide, Canicattini Bagni, Sortino, Buccheri, Ferla, Buscemi, or Cassaro.
• Headlines from the flagship newspaper, Siracusa News, which appear alongside local news on the homepage: what's happening in the province is always at your fingertips.
• Breaking news notifications: you enable them when you first launch the app and can disable them whenever you want from your Android settings.
• Archive of previously sent notifications, accessible from the Notifications button in the bottom bar: if you missed an alert, you can find it there.
• Favorites: tap Save on an article and it's in the list, which stays on your device.
• Sharing: send an article via WhatsApp, email, or any other installed app using Android's share menu.
• Reading bar always within reach, with a button to go back through articles.

NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED

The app is free and easy to use: no account creation required, no personal data requested, and no in-app purchases or subscriptions.

NOTIFICATIONS AND DATA

To deliver notifications, the app records a technical device identifier (the Firebase Cloud Messaging token): this is the only data collected and is used solely for that purpose. We do not profile readers and do not use advertising identifiers. Two permissions are required: internet access and notifications. The privacy policy is always available at the bottom of each page.

WHO PUBLISHES THE APP

The app is published by Siracusa News srl, publisher of Siracusa News and the other local newspapers in the network: Augusta News, Avola News, Catania News, Leontinoi News, Noto News, Pachino News, and Sicilia News. ibleinews.it is an editorial supplement of siracusanews.it, an online newspaper registered with the Court of Syracuse (No. 05/08 of April 20, 2008).
