IATA DG AutoCheck is a specialized Chrome extension designed to automate the verification of Dangerous Goods (DG) declarations against the trusted IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR). Optimized for tablets with minimum 10-inch screens and resolutions of 1024 x 800 pixels, it leverages optical character recognition (OCR) to extract data from paper Shipper’s Declarations for Dangerous Goods and validates this data against all applicable rules and state/operator variations.

Additionally, DG AutoCheck supports electronic data inputs via the IATA XML e-DGD format where authorized, streamlining the acceptance process. Upon successful validation, the tool provides users with clear pictorial representations of packages and overpacks, complete with necessary markings and labels, helping operational staff at freight forwarders, ground handlers, and airlines make informed decisions swiftly.
