The Navarrabiomed exhibition features nine science figures in the form of large-scale, sustainable sculptures. The pieces showcase some advances in biomedical research and present current challenges. As a visitor, you can learn about the challenges and opportunities that the integration of biomedical research into the clinical practice of the Public Health System has brought, based on the work developed by Navarrabiomed over the last decade.

How it works:

Stand approximately 1-2 meters away from each sculpture and focus your mobile phone on it to fully immerse yourself in this interactive adventure. After an initial visual impact that allows you to interact with the piece thanks to 3D visualization and AR technology, click on the “+ info” button to access additional information. Don't forget to turn on the sound on your phone for a fully immersive experience.

About Navarrabiomed

Navarrabiomed is a public research center created in 2012, promoted by the Department of Health of the Government of Navarre. Its mission is to promote, facilitate, and conduct biomedical research to implement and develop therapies that improve the quality of the public healthcare system.

In 2016, an agreement was signed with the Public University of Navarre for the development of Navarrabiomed as a joint center with the aim of promoting biomedical research and enhancing the competitiveness of the region's biosanitary sector.

Currently, the center is organized into 19 research units and 7 scientific-technical services to promote scientific research and technological development: Biobank, Clinical Trials, Methodology-Evaluation of Health Services, Proteomics, Animal Facility and Experimental Operating Room, and the Cell Ma Advanced Therapies Clean Room, which together comprise a total of 140 researchers. Through its support units, Navarrabiomed facilitates and promotes research conducted by more than 250 healthcare professionals from other public centers in the region.
