The app is great, I'm sure, if you're a premium subscriber. However, a free account is almost pointless. You don't have enough daily energy to practice to the extent that you need to to improve quickly with a language. The "watch an ad" mechanic to get more energy is so broken out almost feels predatory; Sometimes you are able to dismiss the ad box and get the energy promised by the UX, "reward granted!", sometimes it doesn't work at all, and you've wasted a couple minutes watching an ad.
