it's fairly OK, though a bit over simplified. the gamification aspect is fun, easy to pick up, however the actual learning is inaccurate. for example, learning mexican Spanish there is no explanation of the words. está, es, and estamos all have different connotations and proper usage that are not explained at all outside of a single, open sentence (ex: "they are (masc. or fem)" with no further explanation, or "he is" used as the translation for 3 different words and no explanation for why).

I've only been using the free version for a little while, but so far it's great. I've learned a couple new words, so I'm looking forward to what the higher levels have in terms of vocab. once I've used it for a while I'll probably upgrade to premium.
