Volume is a dedicated audiobook player that connects directly to your own Audiobookshelf, Jellyfin or Plex server. No middleman, no cloud service in between, no telemetry, no tracking. Just you, your server and your library.

WHY VOLUME?

I built Volume because I wanted a beautiful native client for my own Jellyfin server that didn't give up the conveniences of a premium audiobook app. It's an indie project, and it treats your media the way it should be treated: privately and directly.

Audiobooks aren't long albums. They have chapters, you lose your place in them, and you come back to them over weeks. Volume is built around that.

Everyone has clipped the next-chapter button through a pocket or on a lock screen and lost ten minutes finding their place again. Volume remembers where you were and puts you back with one tap.

Pulls cover art, author details and descriptions from Open Library when your server is missing them, or falls back to what's embedded in the file.
