WHAT IT IS (AND ISN'T)
PulseNet uses Play-safe, sandbox-friendly techniques — TCP connect probes, mDNS/SSDP/NBNS/LLMNR discovery, reverse DNS, and reachability checks. It does not use root, hidden APIs, or raw packet capture. Android may withhold some details (SSID, MAC, or hostnames) depending on your device and permissions, and the active scan is IPv4-first.

PERMISSIONS
Android gates Wi-Fi details behind location and nearby-device permissions, so PulseNet requests them only to read your network's name and scan your local subnet. Your location is never tracked, stored, or shared.
